SUMMARY

In order to helpkidstake their next step towards Christ together, an Area Coordinator in Granger Kids leads the volunteers and kids in their area while partnering with other AC's and the Kids Core Team staff to serve families.

Each Area Coordinator in Granger Kids truly values leading volunteers and equipping their teammates to find success in their roles. In addition, the Area Coordinator is a leader who loves kids and theirfamilies, andis wired to partner with them.

ATTRIBUTES

Problem solver - Able to identify problems and find solutions within the establish structure and procedures.

Team Builder - Build teams and identifies leaders for those teams. Acts as a talent scout for new volunteers for different roles in Granger Kids.

Responsible- Able to take ownership of their role and responsibilities. Are intrinsically motivated and does not need external systems to prioritize.

Communicator- Proficient in communicating vision, values and direction. Aware that as a member of the GCC team you are always communicating whether in your room, on social media or wherever you are.

Adaptable- Willing to go with the flow and adapt to situations as they come up. Jumps in to help wherever needed to move the team forward.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership- Leads the team of volunteers in their area to offer kids an opportunity to take their next step in relationship with Jesus. Also leads an agreed upon portion of programming, scheduling and lesson plans.

Shepherd- Helps care for the volunteers and communicates with them regularly to encourage leadership and personal faith growth.

Organization- Manages the supplies, equipment, systems, environment and data in their area.

Consistency- Is the consistent face of the classroom week in and week out for families, volunteers and kids to build relationship and familiarity. Champions consistent procedures and best practices in Granger Kids.

Administrative- Schedules volunteers,keeps Planning Center and rosters up-to-date, and handles regular volunteer communication.

Team Player- Values partnering with other area coordinators and leaders in Granger Kids and the rest of GCC to accomplish the mission. Collaborates well with the team.
