Job description

The Key Account Sales & Merchandising Officer will support sales growth across Walmart and other major accounts by managing store relationships, ensuring strong merchandising and planogram compliance, and maintaining product availability. The role includes collecting market insights, preparing sales reports, handling store and delivery follow‑ups, and supporting promotions. It also oversees in‑store sampling programs—from setup to performance reporting—to boost customer engagement and product visibility.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with buyers, department managers, and store personnel at Walmart and other key accounts.
  • Drive sales growth by monitoring product performance, stock levels, and store needs.
  • Support in expanding business opportunities within existing accounts and identifying new key accounts.
  • Conduct regular store visits to ensure products are properly merchandised according to brand guidelines.
  • Maintain planogram compliance, accurate shelf tagging, and attractive product displays.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional placements, and report insights to the management team.
  • Ensure product freshness and rotation (FIFO), resolving any issues with store teams.
  • Assist the Tele sales team in generating retail sales leads and capturing market insights.
  • Collect field data related to customer demand, competitor trends, and product feedback.
  • Follow up stores and retail prospects for order placement and product inquiries.
  • Coordinate with stores and the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Track deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and maintain communication with store managers.
  • Follow up payments, credit notes, returns, and documentation as required.
·        Plan and execute in‑store sampling by coordinating with stores, setting up counters, managing inventory, and guiding promoters. 
 
·        Track and report sampling results by collecting customer feedback, monitoring sales impact, and preparing activity summaries.
