THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Account Manager willdemonstratethe ability to handlespecialized and most complexbooks of businessandinsurance service tasks. Willdemonstrateleadership skills and serve as an expert resource and/or role model for less-experienced co-workers. Effective personal interactions are necessary to contribute positively to the team.While the role does not directly supervise others, mentoring, training, and supporting the overall growth and success of the team is a requirement of this position.Sizeofbookmay be flexible dependent on the employee's ability to handleadditionaltasks. Will berequiredtomaintainan awareness of market conditions and provide feedback and/or training to team members atmanagements'request, as well asdemonstratetheir ability to handle special projects.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Service day-to-day client needsincluding,fielding phone calls, email, and other communicationrelativeto coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.

  • Manage the execution of all aspects of client renewal process including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation of renewal numbers to the Producer and the client where applicable and invoicing

  • Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included in quote proposal

  • Manage client relationship ensuring satisfaction

  • Manage and delegate work as needed to AssociateAccount ManagersI and II,andAccountManagersI and IIto ensure their progress and workload is appropriate

  • Manageandmaintainrelationships with underwriters to ensure positive results for clients, and negotiate coverage with underwriters

  • Ensure the completion of proposals, binding of coverage, review of policies for accuracy and creation of client policy summaries and binders

  • Responsible for setting up andmaintainingelectronicrecords

  • Use best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information

  • Train, mentorand collaboratewith team members to share and educate on coverage,exposuresand client knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School or equivalent

  • P & C Insurance Producer License Required

  • Sixor moreyears insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management rolepreferred

  • Construction Experience Preferred

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES:

  • Demonstratedproficiencyin training others

  • Effective mentoring abilities,fostering teamwork
