YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

Responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, security, and reliable operation of Enterprise level servers, appliances, storage systems, and peripherals. Microsoft 365, AWS and VMware Administration is a plus.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized system procedures.

  • Performs basic systems administration functions, including managing profiles and accounts, monitors and manages system resources, including CPU, memory and disk usage; performs systems backups and recovery procedures.

  • Writes or modifies basic scripts to resolve specific issues or problems; maintains system documentation and logs.

  • Performs or assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing production system problems.

  • Maintain network and server security, including application security, anti-virus, and user account management.

  • Participate in monitoring, primary response and intervention for information technology-related security incidents and violations.

  • Keep current with new systems; security; network technologies, and applicable laws and regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Windows Systems Administration and Microsoft Active Directory Management.

  • Must have excellent customer relations skills, superior written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Must thrive in a team environment and have the ability to coach and mentor Desktop Technicians.

  • Linux fundamentals and willingness to learn Red Hat.

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • Microsoft Certified Administrator or another Systems Administrator certification.

  • Experience as a Jr. Systems Administrator is preferred. Demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience.

TRAVEL:
  • Minimal, infrequent travel

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
