Job description

At ClearView, you will encounter an entrepreneurial environment, interact with a dynamic group of colleagues, present to clients in critical business situations, and develop a deep understanding of the life sciences and biopharmaceutical industry. You will be mentored directly by ClearView managers, who have a wealth of experience in life sciences consulting. In addition, you will be exposed to a wide variety of business issues including new product planning, pricing & market access, investor services, launch and product commercialization.

Responsibilities

  • You will interact with both clients and teams within ClearView to address critical strategic questions within the biopharmaceutical space. Initially, your work will span multiple projects supporting targeted activities which may be different across each project. Those activities include the following:
  • Conduct complex problem-solving through a hypothesis-based approach
  • Create templated outputs to support overall project deliverable
  • Able to conduct a straightforward project or workstream with moderate oversight
  • Create and utilize analytic tools (e.g., forecast models) to support key decision-making
  • Communicate recommendations to clients to inform strategy and maximize value

Requirements

The successful life sciences consultant candidate must have the following skills and experience:

  • Able to independently manage activities across multiple workstreams (e.g., storylines, ghosting documents, data gathering, etc.), and able to provide thought partnership for more ambiguous or complex projects
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English
  • Well-positioned to serve as a mentor for junior team members
  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Requires and seeks support for more complex projects or difficult client situations
  • Highly analytical and structured approach to solving complex problems

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or Master's degree in the life sciences or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of experience in life sciences consulting
  • Demonstrates curiosity about business and healthcare strategy
  • Communicates clearly in both written and oral settings
  • Shows enthusiasm for working collaboratively in a dynamic, team-based environment
  • Has demonstrated leadership or initiative in any setting
  • Uses a highly analytical approach to solving complex, ambiguous problems
  • Hybrid work model with a 50% in office expectation in our New York, Boston or San Francisco office
  • Provide dedicated administrative support to aligned leadership and extended leadership team members.
  • Manage travel arrangements, including support for aligned project team travel where applicable.
  • Manage and submit expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Support statement of work (SOW) tracking and related administrative follow-up.
  • Provide calendar and scheduling support for internal and external meetings.
  • Deliver printing, binding, and other day-to-day administrative support as needed.

Office Operations

  • Support a well-run, welcoming, and operationally ready office environment.
  • Assist with coordination of internal and client meetings, including lunch orders, conference room setup, and virtual meeting setup.
  • Support office and desk setup for new hires.
  • Help maintain a well-organized, operationally ready office environment, with daily attention to shared spaces and supplies.
  • Stock pantry and office supply areas and coordinate replenishment needs with the Office Manager.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in an orderly and efficient manner.
  • Take inventory of office and pantry items in coordination with the Office Manager.
  • Complete document management and data entry accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Receive mail and packages and distribute them as needed.
  • Provide front-of-office support, including greeting guests, logging visitors with building security, supporting parking validation, and managing the sign-out and return of loaner access cards for visiting employees.
  • Help ensure kitchen and reception areas remain clean, tidy, and ready for daily use.
  • Assist with setup and breakdown for office events.
  • Manage the general office email inbox and direct inquiries appropriately.

Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of experience in an office environment.
  • Professional written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to be in the office 4-5 days a week

Preferred

  • Previous experience in an administrative assistant or office support role.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Salesforce.
  • Bachelor's degree.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $150,000 annually.  Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.

In addition to the base salary, you will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
