OVERVIEW 
Full-time/Permanent Employee  
Location: Patuxent River, MD

Aether Aerospace is currently seeking a Program Protection Security Analyst, Junior level, to support our government customer at NAS Patuxent River, MD. The candidate must be proficient and capable of execution of duties pertaining to personnel security, physical security, and information security. Implement security processes necessary to protect classified information, with strict adherence to NISPOM, DoDM 5200.01 Vol. 1-3, DODI 5200.02, DoDI 5200.48, and other applicable Executive Order and DoD regulations. This position will require routine interface with all levels of management and government customers. 

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform routine clerical and administrative functions in support of the E2/C2 ITT
  • Schedule and coordinate conference rooms for unclassified and classified meetings
  • Working knowledge of Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
  • Check clearances, verify visits, and send visits as needed.
  • Issue visitor badges to all visitors.
  • Be the back up to the Security Coordinator for issuing building access badges.
  • Open/Close Labs and Secure Conference room as a support function with the Security Coordinator and other ITT members
  • Understand how to receive and sign for classified packages.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS

Clearance: Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Education: High School Diploma

  • Strong initiative
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to operate with minimal supervision.
  • Problem solving/process improvement skills.
  • A strong administrative skillset. Must have a working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
PREFERRED ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current Security Clearance
  • 1 year security experience
