Job description

ASRC Federal is actively hiring a Power Apps Developer in support of our Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) program based out of Quantico VA.

Remote flexibility available! Telework offered with a requirement to be onsite up to two (2) days a week at Quantico Marine Corps Base VA.

Position Description:

As aย Power Apps Developer, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and assess the business needs, to develop custom Power Apps Applications to automate workflows and create interactive dashboards and reports.

Minimum Requirements:ย 

  • At least five (5) Years โ€“ experience developing production applications using the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps and Power Automate and/or SharePoint sites, lists, and libraries development
  • Active Secret Clearance REQUIRED, eligible to be upgraded to TS/SCI
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree, or equivalent experience in Cybersecurity, and/or Information Systems Management, Information Technology
  • Must meet 8570 certification requirements at the time of hire. ย IAM or IAT Level I (e.g., A+, CCNA Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, CAP, GSLC, Security+ or higher tiered 8570 certification

Required Skills:

  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining Power Apps for data collection, process automation, and enhanced reporting
  • Ability to write and maintain complex Power Fx formulas to implement business logic and data manipulation within Power Apps
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, including creating and managing custom sites, lists, and libraries
  • Proficient in developing and configuring Power Automate workflows to automate business processes and integrate with various data sources
  • Strong understanding of coding best practices and standards
  • Familiar with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development methodologies
  • Possesses excellent problem-solving, communication, design, and debugging skills, enabling independent work and effective collaboration within teams, leveraging strong organizational skills to manage tasks and priorities
  • Experienced in the full lifecycle of data management, analysis, and visualization solutions, from performing needs assessments to identifying application and visualization requirements, to developing and implementing effective solutions with a focus on business analytics
  • Design and manage data sources in various formats such as Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Dataverse, and SQL
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system design documents, API documentation, user guides, and release notes
  • Experience with basic programming logic and design, programming languages, web development technologies, and web development tools
  • Effectively manage and prioritize tasks across multiple projects, ensuring timely completion even under tight schedules and evolving requirements
  • Mentorship of team members, providing technical and professional guidance. Share knowledge and insights across teams, contributing to the broader organizational vision. Participate in technical events and share learnings to support team growth

Work Environment and Physical Demands:ย 

  • This is primarily a Telework position with a requirement to be onsite up to two (2) days a week
  • If alternate worksite is other than DCSA facilities or corporate office space, must have the reliable ability to communicate over voice (cell phone preferred) and stable, capable internet connection
  • Must be able to communicate complex technical ideas to a diverse customer base both verbally and in written form
