Job description

Position Summary:

The SAP Integration Developer III is responsible for the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support of moderately complex SAP integration solutions, exercising sound judgment within established practices and minimal oversight. This role supports system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration by applying SAP PI/PO capabilities and modern API frameworks, and may informally mentor junior integration developers. The position works closely with technical and functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable integration solutions.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, tests, deploys, and supports moderately complex SAP integration solutions using SAP PI/PO and modern API frameworks with minimal oversight.
  • Enables system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration across enterprise platforms.
  • Leads feasibility assessments for integration requirements and advises project leads on options and implications.
  • Supports large system and subsystem planning activities related to integration architecture.
  • Ensures adherence to project schedules and integration standards.
  • Develops and maintains technical integration documentation.
  • Provides knowledge transfer on best practices and modern, standard API-based integration techniques.
  • Owns post-release integration issue resolution and drives continuous improvement efforts.
  • Informally mentors junior SAP Integration Developers on integration standards and best practices.
  • Collaborates with technical and functional teams to deliver scalable integration solutions.
  • Travels on occasion to client sites for on site support (10-15%).
  • Adheres to all certified processes as part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and information security, which includes actively participating in quality assurance activities and ensuring the protection of sensitive information in accordance with our security policies.
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or another technical field with 3-5 years of SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration, and/or relevant system integration development experience; or no degree with 5-7 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated experience owning integration deliverables and solving moderately complex integration problems.
  • Experience with enterprise application development and system integration, including design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience incorporating SAP PI/PO capabilities with modern API frameworks to support system-to-system communication and data exchange.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an active government clearance (requires U.S Citizenship).

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with the Department of Defense or another federal agency.
  • Experience informally mentoring or guiding junior technical staff.
  • Certifications or advanced technical training in SAP integration or related technologies.

Compensation: In accordance with pay transparency law, the expected salary range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual compensation offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This posted range reflects our good faith estimate of the compensation we reasonably expect to offer for this role at the time of posting.
