Job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a Guidewire PolicyCenter Integration Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise integration solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter. This role is responsible for building scalable integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework, Gosu, REST and SOAP web services, and Guidewire Cloud technologies while integrating PolicyCenter with internal and external enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, Guidewire Cloud Platform, and InsuranceSuite integrations, along with strong technical leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Develop integrations using the Guidewire Integration Framework, Gosu, REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, and messaging technologies.
• Design and implement inbound and outbound integrations supporting policy lifecycle processes.
• Develop and support Guidewire Integration Web Services, APIs, and custom integration components.
• Build and maintain integrations between PolicyCenter and BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, CRM platforms, document management systems, rating engines, payment systems, data warehouses, reporting platforms, and third-party applications.
• Develop Gosu-based integration components, custom extensions, and reusable integration services.
• Work with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, messaging queues, and event-driven integration architectures.
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Participate in integration architecture, solution design, development, unit testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Guidewire development standards and integration best practices.
• Support application scalability, performance tuning, and integration reliability initiatives.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, QA teams, DevOps teams, and Guidewire developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
• Prepare technical documentation, integration specifications, mapping documents, and operational support documentation.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Guidewire developers while providing technical leadership and guidance.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of overall IT experience with significant experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience developing Guidewire PolicyCenter integrations.
• Strong expertise with the Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Extensive hands-on experience with the Gosu programming language.
• Strong understanding of the Guidewire PolicyCenter data model and configuration.
• Experience developing and consuming Guidewire APIs, REST APIs, and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience working with Guidewire Cloud and Guidewire Cloud Platform.
• Experience integrating Guidewire PolicyCenter with BillingCenter and ClaimCenter.
• Experience integrating PolicyCenter with CRM systems, document management systems, rating engines, payment platforms, data warehouses, reporting platforms, and third-party applications.
• Strong understanding of XML, JSON, messaging queues, and event-driven integration patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and Agile software development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing enterprise integration architectures for Guidewire InsuranceSuite.
• Experience supporting production Guidewire Cloud implementations.
• Experience optimizing integration performance, scalability, and reliability.
