How you will create impact:
As the Principal GenAI Solutions Architect, you will shape the strategy and development of AIG's next-generation AI-driven solutions. Your leadership will be pivotal in designing end-to-end architectures that span multiple lines of business, transforming how we deliver innovative, scalable, and efficient business applications. By driving the integration of cloud, AI, and cutting-edge technologies, you'll help ensure our solutions align with enterprise standards and position AIG at the forefront of industry innovation.
Your responsibilities include:
  • Managing the architecture and roadmap for multiple large or mid-sized business applications, ensuring they align with AIG's GenAI strategy and enterprise standards.
  • Leading the development of technical and functional solution architectures, covering areas such as cloud, security, risk, compliance, integration, DevOps, and automation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and principles that support AI/ML integration and drive business transformation.
  • Guiding the creation, adoption, and dissemination of architecture standards across the organization, influencing engineering teams and senior leadership.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end execution of architecture initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and maximizing the business value of AI-driven solutions.

What is needed to be successful:
  • You have extensive experience leading the architecture, design, and roadmap of large-scale business applications or functional technology solutions, with a focus on secure architecture and AI integration with Agile and lean methodologies.
  • You are highly proficient in managing end-to-end architecture (functional, logical, and physical) for multiple business applications across different geographies and program sizes.
  • You are skilled in collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to drive the adoption of AI/ML and cloud-native technologies, ensuring alignment with EA/ITIL frameworks and standards (enterprise, ethical, and responsible AI).
  • You have experience managing technical solution architecture in hybrid environments, integrating both on-prem and cloud-based (AWS) infrastructure to create secure and scalable solutions, with advanced knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, Microservices, Open Data, and DevSecOps.
  • You are an experienced leader who excels at providing strategic direction to architecture initiatives and mentoring junior team members.

  • You have familiarity and experience with business and Insurance functions such as channel and distribution, submission and file management, price and quote, policy and service, forms ecosystems, claims, money movement, billing and collections, finance ledgers and reporting, reinsurance, data modeling and usage, actuarial, shared business platforms, corporate systems.
