Superior Pump & Motor, an Altus Fire & Life Safety Company, is looking for a Junior Pump Mechanic to join our team!

Hourly Rate: $20.00 -$30.00 / HourResponsibilities
  • Assist senior technicians with the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of pump systems and related equipment
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting under supervision
  • •Support service calls, preventative maintenance, and emergency response work
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and reports
  • Follow all safety procedures and company standards
  • Travel to job sites as required
Required Skills
  • Mechanical or electrical experience in a related field (HVAC, electrical, industrial maintenance, automotive, controls, or similar)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools
  • Willingness to learn pump systems, motors, and controls
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift equipment and work in industrial and field environments
  • Preferred (Not Required):
    • Trade school or technical training
    • Experience with motors, controls, or troubleshooting electrical systems
    • Basic understanding of piping systems
