Junior Full Stack Software Engineer, TS/SCI, Security Clearance Required, Onsite in Herndon, VA

We are seeking a Junior Full Stack Software Engineer with a current TS/SCI security clearance to join the team. You will work on an integrated team to build innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. This team is building innovative software using mathematical solutions to support users in the defense and intelligence communities. Company products and services contribute to missions in support of national security, provide expertise used in the latest app technology, support efforts for the health and sustainability of the planet. This position is ideal for both entry level candidates and experienced individuals in the software engineering field and offers a chance to grow and explore different technologies within a dynamic AI-driven environment. Must be willing to acquire a CI Polygraph security clearance. We have 5 openings available. Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance. This position is 100% Onsite in Herndon, VA.

Junior Full Stack Software Engineer Qualifications:

- Must have a current TS/SCI security clearance.

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering or related STEM field.

- Need 3+ years of experience.

- Experiences with any of the following: Java, C++, Python, Vue.js, React, Kafka or similar, Git, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, Bash, Linux.

- Experience developing containerized micro-services.

- Experience developing Front end Web applications.

- Experience developing Backend services that use APIs or a message bus to communicate.

- Experience with software engineering tools (i.e., Git/Subversion, IDE).

- Familiarity with the Agile development process and tools.

- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Development pipelines (CI-CD Pipelines).

- Ability to work in a geographically dispersed, collaborative team environment.

- Experience with formal software development methodologies (Agile).

- Experience writing software implementing algorithms.

- Experience implementing Design Patterns.

- Familiarity with Aerospace Engineering and space operations is a big plus.

- Background investigation required, including a minimum of a criminal and credit check as well as at least three professional references.
