Job description

About Kikoff

We're looking for a Junior Graphic Designer who's eager to grow their visual design skills within a performance marketing environment and help bring the Kikoff brand to life across every marketing touchpoint-paid social, email, paid, and web. This role is ideal for a designer who is hungry to learn, has a strong design foundation, and is excited to understand why great creative works-not just how to execute it.

You'll work closely with our Senior Designer, copywriters, marketers, and PMMs in a high-velocity creative environment-shipping, testing, and optimizing on-brand work that drives real results.

This is a full-time hybrid position at our San Francisco HQ. You'll be joining a fast-moving team where your work will have a visible impact and where you'll have real room to grow. Currently, the Creative team works in the SF office 3 times a week.

Please include a portfolio of your work.

What You'll Do
  • Support the visual execution and evolution of the Kikoff brand across channels.
  • Participate in creative ideation and concept development, contributing your creative perspective to help drive business objectives.
  • Design creative assets across a wide range of channels-Paid Social, Emails, Website, and more
  • Work within Kikoff's brand guidelines while exploring ways to push and refine our design language across touchpoints.
  • Create static and motion assets for campaigns, ads, and content (short-form animations, product demos, UI flows, etc.).
  • Explore and experiment with AI tools (Midjourney, Runway, Figma plugins, etc.) to accelerate and enhance your design workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm, test, and iterate on creative concepts quickly and efficiently.
  • Uphold brand and compliance standards across all design output.
Who You Are
  • 0-2 years of design experience (agency, in-house, internship, or strong freelance work all count)
  • A portfolio that demonstrates a solid design eye across at least a few channels (marketing, social, brand, or product).
  • Foundational knowledge of visual hierarchy, typography, color, and layout for digital storytelling, especially in social media placements.
  • Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; any exposure to motion tools like After Effects is a plus.
  • Curious about AI-powered design tools and open to experimenting with them to enhance your work.
  • Organized, communicative, and able to manage feedback and revisions across multiple projects.
  • Collaborative and detail-oriented, with a genuine desire to learn and level up.
Bonus Points
  • Experience designing within fintech, SaaS, or other highly regulated industries.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI design principles or web animation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with social best practices
  • Passion for data-informed design and rapid creative testing.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in our San Francisco office)

Short Term Employment: 40 hours per week
