Job description

TMB has an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Data Management Analyst to provide support to a U.S. Navy program office.

Responsibilities

  • The Jr. Database Management Analyst will provide technical and analytical support to the NAVSEA Director for Surface Ship Maintenance, Modernization, and Sustainment (SEA 21).
  • This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing databases that store critical program data, ensuring data integrity, accessibility, and security to support decision-making and operational efficiency.
    • Design, implement, and maintain relational databases supporting SEA 21 programs and initiatives.
    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with DoD and NAVSEA data governance standards.
    • Develop queries, reports, and dashboards to support program analysis and leadership briefings.
    • Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies for efficiency and scalability.
    • Collaborate with data analysts, program managers, and IT teams to integrate data solutions into workflows.
    • Support data migration, backup, and disaster recovery planning.
    • Maintain cybersecurity compliance and access control protocols for sensitive data.

Qualifications

  • 1-year professional experience.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in math, science, engineering, or related field.
  • Associates degree and 1 year of professional experience is acceptable instead of a bachelorโ€™s degree.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
