We are looking for an Applications Engineer (Analytics Solutions Focus) to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team that is committed to delivering best in class service to our customers.
In this role, you will build and enhance analytics-focused applications that support reporting, data visualization, and enterprise decision-making capabilities. You'll work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to develop scalable and user-friendly analytical solutions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and support analytics and reporting applications
  • Integrate applications with enterprise data platforms and APIs
  • Support dashboard and visualization enablement initiatives
  • Optimize application performance and data accessibility
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into solutions
  • Participate in Agile development and release cycles
  • Support troubleshooting and operational maintenance activities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of application development experience
  • Experience with reporting, analytics, or visualization platforms
  • Proficiency with SQL and modern programming languages
  • Experience supporting cloud-based applications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Tableau, Databricks, or analytics ecosystems
  • Experience with enterprise data lakes or data warehouses
  • Experience supporting large-scale reporting environments

Additional Requirements:

Salary Range
At Blueprint, we strive to offer competitive pay that reflects the value of our team members. Compensation for this role is influenced by a variety of factors, including skills, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographic market.
For candidates based in Washington State, the anticipated salary range is $87,000 to $98,000 annually. Please note that we typically do not hire new employees at the top of the posted range. Actual starting pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity. The final salary and job title may vary depending on the selected candidate's qualifications and could fall outside the stated range.

Location: This role requires candidates to be located in the DMV area, as it follows a hybrid schedule with on-site presence 1-2 days per week depending on team needs. We're looking for someone who is comfortable collaborating in person while also working independently on remote days.
