Anesthesiologist Opportunity In Rockford, IL

Anesthesiologist opportunity in Rockford, IL, with fast-paced practice with OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, a Level I trauma center. OSF St Anthony Medical Center is a designated Level I trauma center. The nonprofit Catholic hospital is dedicated to serving the diverse community of Rockford, IL. Outstanding surgeons and support staff team up to work in the fast-paced environment.

Team Leadership: Dr. Garner Arnold, Chief of Anesthesia

Team Highlights: Fast paced environment with great support staff and surgeons.

Responsibilities: Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department. Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures. Pre-anesthesia assessment. Obtain and/or verify patient consent. Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient. Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia. Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition. Performance of clinical intervention as needed.

Requirements: M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine. ECFMG and FLEX. Completion of approved residency in anesthesia. Currently licensed as a physician.
