Physio Recovery Center is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our collaborative team in Alexandria, Virginia. As a vital member of our orthopedic outpatient practice, you will partner with patients on their journey towards restoring mobility and enhancing their overall quality of life. Your expertise will support varied goals related to rehabilitation, prevention, and health optimization.

Located in the vibrant community of Alexandria, VA, Physio Recovery Center prides itself on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Our state-of-the-art 5000-square-foot sports medicine facility is equipped with advanced tools and technology, fostering an environment of excellence for both patients and professionals. We primarily accept private medical insurance, ensuring a streamlined experience for our clients. Our team consists of two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to providing impactful and evidence-based therapy.

This onsite position offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a stable work-life balance while engaging in meaningful patient care. The outpatient office setting encourages direct interactions with patients, fostering a supportive community atmosphere as you help individuals reclaim their active lives.

• Assess patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals based on their individual circumstances and conditions.
• Manage a caseload of 2-3 patients per hour, providing consistent and timely intervention.
• Implement cost-effective treatment plans designed to improve patients’ mobility while minimizing dependence on pain medications and invasive surgeries.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in developing comprehensive care strategies tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs that align with patients' specific health and rehabilitation goals.
• Offer evidence-based interventions that promote strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.
• Motivate and empower patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring they are engaged and committed to their progress.
• Document patient care services meticulously, monitoring their progress and adapting care plans as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals experiencing orthopedic conditions, from post-surgical rehabilitation to those managing ongoing musculoskeletal disorders. We focus on providing a reassuring and constructive environment that encourages patients of all ages to take an active role in their recovery, supported by our skilled therapy team.

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree required.
• Valid Virginia Physical Therapist License with no history of board actions or disciplinary actions.
• Strong manual therapy skills paired with a firm understanding of exercise regimens.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, especially WebPT.

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success in developing personalized care plans and fitness programs.
• Capability of performing a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques, enhancing patient recovery experiences.

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
