Job description

Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician RBT – Full-Time | $17–$20/hr | Sign-On Bonus
Horizon Behavioral Consulting is urgently hiring a full-time Registered Behavior Technician RBT to join our center-based ABA team in Mishawaka, Indiana.

We are looking for dependable, compassionate, and motivated team members who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism and developmental needs.
Pay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In person
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $1,000 sign-on bonus for qualified full-time candidates

About the Role

As a Registered Behavior Technician RBT, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst BCBA. You will help clients learn new skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and make progress toward individualized treatment goals.
This position is a great fit for someone who is patient, reliable, energetic, and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities

  • Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy to children
  • Implement individualized treatment plans using Applied Behavior Analysis ABA principles
  • Follow behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
  • Teach communication, social, play, daily living, and learning readiness skills
  • Collect accurate data during therapy sessions
  • Support clients through transitions, routines, and structured activities
  • Maintain a safe, positive, and respectful therapy environment
  • Complete session documentation according to company and HIPAA requirements
  • Participate in training, supervision, and team collaboration
Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician RBT certification preferred
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Experience with autism, ABA therapy, childcare, education, special education, or behavioral health is a plus
  • Must be dependable, professional, and compassionate
  • Must be able to follow written treatment plans and collect accurate data
  • Must be able to pass required background checks and employment requirements
