The Physio Recovery Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Physical Therapist to join our specialized team. Situated in Tacoma, Washington, this role focuses on providing high-quality care in an orthopedic outpatient setting. As a Physical Therapist, you will collaborate closely with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their quality of life through tailored treatment plans and rehabilitation programs.

Our team consists of experienced professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all committed to maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our rehabilitation center in Tacoma, Washington. The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a predictable and supportive work-life balance. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify individual goals and specific needs.
• Develop and implement personalized care plans, utilizing a variety of treatment techniques and manual therapy skills to enhance mobility.
• Deliver cost-effective, evidence-based treatments aimed at improving motion and mobility while reducing reliance on medications and invasive procedures.
• Engage with each patient throughout the treatment process, providing motivation and support to help them achieve optimal function.
• Create and promote wellness-oriented programs that cater to the unique requirements of each individual.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Document all patient care services accurately, following industry standards and utilizing EMR software such as WebPT.
• Assess the effectiveness of ongoing treatment and adjust care plans as necessary to meet patient objectives.
• Monitor and communicate patient progress effectively, ensuring that patients and their families are informed and involved in the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. As a Physical Therapist at Physio Recovery Center, you will work with a diverse array of clients ranging from active individuals looking to regain mobility post-injury to older adults seeking to enhance their overall quality of life. Your expertise will be crucial in helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Possession of a valid Washington State Physical Therapist license.
• No disciplinary actions or board actions against your professional license.
• Strong manual therapy skills, complemented by a solid understanding of therapeutic exercises.
• Experience with EMR software such as WebPT for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage patients in their rehabilitation process.
• Knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices that promote positive patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

Physio Recovery Center offers a competitive salary range between USD 90,000 and 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
