Job Description:
At Regions, the Corporate Loan Document Review Specialist reviews loan documentation and system set up. Document review ensures that loans are being documented in compliance with approvals and Regions' Commercial Loan Policy, Commercial Loan Documentation and other applicable processes/procedures. The primary function is to protect the interest of the bank by ensuring all loans are booked and documented following all compliance, federal and state regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Reviews document in AFS/LIII, ACLS and Total Systems II (TSYS) for system validation to mitigate customer, compliance, and/or vendor tracking, as applicable
  • Completes a detailed document review of document via iWAVE Workflow
  • Ensures loan documentation is complete and accurate according to State and Federal regulation and Regions' Commercial Loan Policy, Commercial Loan Documentation and other applicable processes/procedures
  • Ensures all missing or incorrect documentation is notated as a Documentation Deficiency within the iWave which generates to iVIEW for exception tracking
  • Provides clear and concise written communication on missing or incorrect document exceptions

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One (1) year loan documentation and/or commercial loan documentation experience

Preferences
  • Bachelor's degree

Skills and Competencies
  • Knowledge of AFS/LIII, ACAPS/ACLS, TSYS, nCino
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment

Specific Day to Day Responsibilities/ Requirements:
  • Reviews and process tickets submitted into the Quest Database specific to Collateral and Guarantor Maintenance for Level III and ACLS booked loan
  • Ensures applicable documentation received in Quest is uploaded via LoaDer or sent in attached to a Documentation Generation Applicateion (DGA) cover sheet to be imaged in iWAVE
  • Research and process loan/collateral documentation or system related reports
  • Virtual training and/or clarification for Credit Products outsourced associate
  • Research and process Perfection iWAVE Workflow Inbox task
  • Participates in projects and cross-functional initiatives led by business leadership

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
