Job description

Clearance Requirement: Secret

Employment Status: SCA Full Time

Location: Luke AFB

Salary: Dependent on the issued Wage Determination

This position is contingent upon contract award expected on or about May 01, 2026. We are currently accepting resumes in anticipation of an award and may begin candidate screening prior to the award. Employment is subject to the award of a contract and funding. Interested candidates are encouraged to apply now for early consideration.

Essential Duties:

  • Lead installation, configuration, grounding, patching, and cutover of network devices in NIPR and SIPR environments
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting of switching, routing, VLANs, and fiber transport issues
  • Validate compliance with configuration baselines and security requirements
  • Support NIP/ITF lab builds and hardware validation
  • Coordinate Tier 2 field support activities and provide escalation to engineering
  • Ensure proper cable management, bonding, and labeling standards are enforced
  • Execute firmware updates and vulnerability remediation
  • Assist the NOC when on-site hands-on activities are required

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR Cisco CCNA/CCNP certification
  • 5-8 years of enterprise network support experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting secure DoD networks
  • DoD 8140 compliant certification required
  • Experience with fiber testing equipment and structured cabling standards
  • Experience working with US Air Force structure (Preferred)
