Responsibilities
Master Data Steward (MRO)
Big company opportunity. Small company attitude. Discover just right.
At Post Consumer Brands, our purpose is to make lives better by making delicious food accessible for all and great data helps make that possible.
As a Master Data Steward (MRO), you’ll be the visible, action-oriented engine behind master data governance for MRO items by helping ensure our systems, processes, and teams can rely on accurate, consistent data every day.
About the Role
Master Data Stewards are the primary point of responsibility, accountability, and activity for assessing, improving, and maintaining critical data assets.
In this role, you’ll create, edit, and manage MRO master data while partnering closely with Maintenance, Operations, Procurement, and IT to support enterprise initiatives dependent on clean, synchronized data.
You’re not the “owner” of the data, you’re the trustee, ensuring governance rules are followed so data can effectively support business processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain MRO item master data (setup, edits, governance, and ongoing management) within master data applications.
  • Manage data control processes for MRO items to support system integrity and consistency.
  • Capture and monitor key business data rules within business systems; help ensure rules are followed and visible.
  • Monitor and track data quality regularly; identify root causes and recommend optimal approaches to resolve issues.
  • Support Data Owners in resolving data quality issues and amplify wins to build enterprise engagement in data governance.
  • Partner cross-functionally (Maintenance, Operations, IT, Procurement) to develop, manage, and implement a prioritized portfolio of key projects.
  • Serve as SME/Super User for the MRO item setup process tool; support troubleshooting, enhancement requests, and adoption.
  • Create and deliver training on MRO requirements, processes, and tools; build capability across the enterprise and develop backup coverage.
  • Act as the business + system liaison for MRO data (e.g., help desk tickets, problem-solving, escalations, system updates, and testing).
  • Support rollouts of new functionality, configurations, capabilities, and reports within Infor EAM in partnership with sites and the enterprise team.
  • Support the MRO upload utility to efficiently upload vendor/manufacturer/parts information and related item details.
  • Support onboarding steps for new employees using SailPoint (as applicable to process access).
  • Champion MRO item processes across the enterprise—partnering with sites to drive maintenance process improvements.
