About the Role
Does the idea of playing a significant role in data platform operations oversight, content expertise, and structure processes to ensure the highest level of data quality and service at a fast-growing, late stage start-up sound like your jam?  Are you looking for an organization where your expertise and experience are not only needed, but valued? If so, we’ve got an opportunity with your name written all over it! We are seeking a Data Operations Engineer to join our Data Engineering team under our Technology department. Using your creative problem solving skills, methodical attention to detail, and collaborative spirit, you will partner closely with your Data Engineering peers and our Business Intelligence Reporting team to assist with data operations that support our Icario products, allowing us to make healthcare more human.  In this position, you will report directly to our Manager of Data Operations.


Why We Need You
  • Become our company’s Data Masters, learning what and how data is stored in our various internal databases in order to support internal teams’ questions regarding Icario’s data
  • Work cross-functionally with our customer, implementation, and analytics teams to make operational plans for program implementations  
  • Work with our implementation and product teams to ensure program implementation plans align with product functionality and standards
  • Set up and maintain a variety of data products for each program implementation, including inbound file configuration, outbound file configuration and generation, and reporting
  • Ensure that the delivery of data products is secure, tested, and on-schedule

  • 1-3 years of work experience related to data operations and analysis
  • Experience working with various databases, such as PostgreSQL, Redshift or MongoDB
  • Expertise using SQL for data analysis (Python preferred)
  • Knowledge of data pipelines in the cloud, preferably AWS
  • Knowledge of SFTP, SSO, SAML, Certificate Signing
  • Experience with JSON 
  • Creative problem solver and self starter who enjoys working in a small, fast growing, rapidly changing, environment
  • Comfortable collaborating and communicating with cross-functional teams while working on several different tasks throughout your workday
  • Ability to communicate well with different audiences with clarity and conciseness demonstrated by well-developed written and verbal skills
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure the highest level of data quality and service
