Job description

Join a dynamic and growing team as an IT Project Coordinator, where your organizational skills and attention to detail will directly impact the success of multiple client-facing IT projects. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, take ownership of their work, and are committed to ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards. As an integral part of the team, you will coordinate resources, manage project schedules, and serve as a key point of contact for clients. If you are passionate about driving project success and enjoy working collaboratively across departments, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in IT project management.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and deliver a wide range of IT-focused projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
  • Build, maintain, and actively manage project schedules using tools such as ConnectWise Manage, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
  • Coordinate internal resources—including engineers, help desk, procurement, and cross-functional teams—to meet project timelines.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, or delays, and escalate or address them to prevent impact on project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during active projects, providing consistent updates and managing expectations.
  • Drive clear communication of project milestones, updates, and any changes in scope to all stakeholders.
  • Schedule and lead project check-ins, document outcomes, and ensure all action items are tracked and completed.
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including statements of work (SOWs), project plans, and status reports.
  • Track project hours, budgets, and billing with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ensure smooth project closeout, including documentation and handoff to support teams.
  • Follow and help enforce project delivery standards, documentation practices, and workflows.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency, and standardize repeatable work.
  • Take ownership of project outcomes, ensuring not just task completion but overall project success.
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating IT projects, preferably within a managed service provider (MSP) or IT services environment.
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, including hardware, networking, servers, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Experience with PSA/ticketing tools such as ConnectWise Manage or similar.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Proactive communicator who follows up and drives tasks to completion.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, client-friendly language.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
