Job description

Position Overview :

  • Design and implement scalable solutions on SAP BTP using ABAP, CAPM, and OData.
  • Work with SAP components such as BAS, Fiori, Workzone, and CPI.
  • Integrate SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC) with external platforms via APIs and middleware.
  • Develop and enhance ABAP objects: BAPIs, BADIs, workflows, etc.
  • Build cloud-native apps using CAPM, CDS views, and Fiori Elements.
  • Optimize performance and maintainability of code.
  • Use Java and JavaScript for service logic and UI customization.
  • Experience with Node.js runtimes and Python for scripting or automation (nice to have).
  • Lead SAP BTP projects and provide technical mentoring to team members.
  • Promote best practices in SAP cloud development.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define solution requirements.
  • Present architectural strategies and technical options clearly.
  • Drive innovation using new SAP cloud capabilities (CAPM, BAS, CI/CD).
  • Recommend and implement development process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Strong ABAP development experience (15+ years preferred).
  • 3+ years in SAP BTP with hands-on CAPM, CDS, Node.js.
  • Experience with SAP Fiori, SAP CPI, and integration techniques.
  • Java/JavaScript skills required; Python is a plus.
  • Proven experience leading SAP projects and cloud transformation efforts.
  • Agile methodology and CI/CD knowledge.
  • SAP certifications in ABAP, BTP, or CAPM preferred.
  • SAP S/4HANA migration or upgrade projects.
  • Familiarity with SAP BAS, Fiori Elements, and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with DevOps tools (Jira, Confluence, Git, etc.).
