Job description

We are seeking a determined, organized, experienced, and detail-oriented Roofing Project Coordinator (Bilingual ENG-SPA) to join our fast-growing team.


This position works closely with our Project Managers and Field Managers to coordinate roofing projects from contract through completion. We are looking for a ROOFING professional who understands Florida permitting, communicates exceptionally well with customers, and takes ownership of projects in a fast-paced environment.
*This is not an entry-level or remote position*


Requirements:
• Roofing industry experience required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 2–3 years of roofing project coordination, project administration, or similar roofing project management experience preferred.
• Understanding of roofing projects from contract, permitting, and installation through inspections and completion.
• Knowledge of Florida Building Code and roofing requirements.
• Experience working with permitting departments and local jurisdictions in Broward, Miami-Dade, Palm Beach, Tampa-area, and surrounding Florida municipalities.
• Ability to independently manage permit submissions, corrections, inspections, approvals, and HOA applications.
• Experience with project management software/systems, QuickBooks, and Excel.
• Strong organization, communication, multitasking, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Reliable, self-motivated, accountable, and team-oriented.
• Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond.
• Interested in growing with the team and building a long-term career.
• Solar industry experience is a plus.


Responsibilities:
• Manage roofing projects from contract through completion.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Field Managers on scheduling, permits, inspections, material deliveries, installation crews, and project requirements.
• Step in and take ownership of assigned projects when the Project Manager is unavailable, making informed decisions within your authority.
• Prepare, submit, track, and follow up on permits, corrections, inspections, and approvals.
• Handle HOA applications and approvals.
• Communicate with homeowners, suppliers, field staff, sales representatives, Project Managers, and other project contacts in English and Spanish.
• Keep homeowners informed and help ensure an exceptional customer experience.
• Monitor project progress, deadlines, expenses, payments, payouts, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and resolve scheduling, permitting, documentation, and customer issues.
• Keep project management systems and physical/digital files accurate, complete, and current.
• Provide complete project documentation to the Project Auditor.
• Follow through on responsibilities without constant reminders or supervision.
