IT Operations Coordinator

M-F / 8:30-5:00 / Long Term Temp / $18.50 per hour


Position Summary

We are looking for an organized IT Operations Coordinator to support new store openings, remodels, relocations, and technology upgrades. In this role, you will coordinate POS (Point-of-Sale) equipment, work with vendors, track projects, and ensure installations are completed on time. This position combines administrative support, project coordination, and basic technical troubleshooting.


Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the ordering, shipping, and delivery of POS equipment.
  • Schedule and monitor vendors for equipment installations and returns.
  • Track project progress and ensure any follow-up work is completed.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues and escalate when needed.
  • Verify equipment is working before store openings.
  • Create purchase orders and process invoices.
  • Set up new stores in company systems.
  • Maintain inventory records and reconcile equipment returns.
  • Prepare reports and update project documentation.
  • Respond to emails and communicate with vendors and internal teams.
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in company systems.


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of IT Help Desk, Technical Support, or Project Coordination experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
