GENERAL PURPOSE:Â
The IT Manager II is accountable for delivery of medium-to-high complexity projects. ThisÂ
position plans, initiates and manages medium-to-high complexity store technology projectsÂ
involving medium to large sized cross-functional teams. Under general direction, the IT ManagerÂ
II - Store Systems is responsible for managing medium to large scale store systems initiatives.Â
This role provides leadership for store hardware lifecycle management, device certification, andÂ
deployment governance, ensuring technology solutions are compliant, scalable, supported, andÂ
aligned with business objectives. While executing store systems initiatives IT Manager II
establishes and maintains project governance, workplan, resource plan and budget. The role
monitors progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met while maintaining
project documentation and traceability.
The base salary range for this role is $134,300 - $229,400. The base salary range isÂ
dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevantÂ
education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component ofÂ
the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position andÂ
location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Define, own, and manage the store hardware lifecycle roadmap, including operatingÂ
system strategy and standards, in partnership with the architecture team.Â
Track and manage hardware End-of-Sale (EOS), End-of-Engineering Support (EOES),Â
and End-of-Support (EOS) milestones, and develop multi-year replacement strategies toÂ
remediate legacy devices and mitigate risk.Â
Lead annual store device certification, validation, and lab testing activities to ensureÂ
compliance and readiness.Â
Govern hardware deployments across store locations, including approval of deploymentÂ
models, rollout schedules, and execution plans
Lead large-scale hardware refresh and rollout programs, leveraging multiple deliveryÂ
and deployment methodologies.Â
Coordinate end-to-end hardware procurement activities, including bill of materials,Â
vendor coordination, shipment tracking, and delivery.Â
Act as the primary owner for vendor management, including contract/SOW reviews,Â
negotiations, and performance management in collaboration with Legal and ITÂ
Contracts
Produce and manage detailed project and workstream plans, ensuring activities areÂ
clearly defined, sequenced, resourced, and delivered on schedule.Â
Plan and lead project analysis and stakeholder consultations to define scope, objectives,Â
and deliverables.Â
Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints,Â
escalating as appropriate.Â
Prepare and present executive-level status reports highlighting progress, risks, and keyÂ
decisions
Partner with business stakeholders, store operations, internal teams, and third-partyÂ
resources to align expectations and ensure successful delivery.Â
Provide leadership, guidance, and oversight to internal teams and external deploymentÂ
partners.Â
Capture and document lessons learned to improve future programs and initiatives.Â
Review existing operations and drive continuous improvement through processÂ
optimization and innovative solutions.Â
Maintain professional accreditations and remain current on project management tools,Â
methodologies, and industry best practices through ongoing development.
