  • We are a Managed Service Provider building a team in the Dallas area to provide comprehensive IT services to small and medium-sized businesses. In this role, you will serve as a Senior IT Support Technician, responsible for managing our clients' IT environments.

What You'll Do
  • Manage client environments (servers, networks, cloud systems) and resolve escalated service desk issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and hybrid cloud migrations.
  • Configure and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and security policies (SonicWall, Meraki, FortiGate).
  • Use RMM/PSA tools (ConnectWise, NinjaOne, or AutoTask) to monitor and document service delivery.
  • Implement automation, scripting, and AI tools (PowerShell, ChatGPT integrations) to streamline support.
  • Collaborate with the help desk and project teams to ensure client satisfaction and SLA adherence.

You have:
  • Ten or more years of firsthand experience configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing networking equipment, firewalls, servers, and workstations, implementing policies and controls, DNS administration, migrating environments to the cloud, Microsoft 365 administration, and working with Active Directory.
  • Good project management skills to facilitate a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Comfort in working with clients to troubleshoot and resolve current and historic issues regarding their business and technology.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Desire to create an experience that customers will love.
  • Experience working at a Managed Services Provider (MSP) - this would be a HUGE PLUS!
  • Proven experience with PowerShell
  • RMM (remote monitoring and management) software such as NinajOne, Kaseya, or ConnectWise
  • PSA for ticketing and project management, such as AutoTask or Zoho.
  • Experience setting up firewalls and VPNs such as SonicWall, Meraki, and FortiGate.
  • Ability to problem solve at a high level, extraordinary customer service skills, strong multi-tasking, and organizational skills.
  • One or more relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, CCNA, or similar certs.

Bonus Skills
  • Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Python, or NinjaOne policies).
  • Cloud architecture or M365 migrations.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for documentation, diagnostics, or workflow optimization.
