Job description

We are looking for a versatile Field Engineer to provide critical IT infrastructure support for a major global aviation leader. This is a high-impact role where you will manage hands-on technical installations, hardware moves, and complex troubleshooting across various environments, including corporate offices, reservation centers, and high-traffic airport terminals.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Deployment & IMAC: Manage the installation, movement, adding, and changing (IMAC) IT hardware and infrastructure.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex software and hardware errors that standard procedures cannot fix.
  • On-Site Support: Provide rapid-response technical assistance during field visits and dispatches.
  • Documentation: Create detailed service reports, document workaround procedures, and maintain accurate records of technical solutions.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain positive professional relationships with internal end-users and customers.

Required Qualifications:
  • Technical Proficiency: Proven experience in IT field engineering or operational support.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to collect and analyze performance data to provide proactive technical assistance.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, including the ability to use a ladder for hardware access.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ability to obtain a SIDA (Security Identification Display Area) badge for secure airport access.
