About the Position

The IT Field Engineer provides technical support, installation, and maintenance of technology infrastructure at Power Design job sites and offices. This role ensures that network, hardware, and software systems are deployed and functioning efficiently to support field operations. The IT Field Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality support while maintaining Power Design's commitment to innovation and reliability.

Position Responsibilities
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain IT hardware and network systems across job sites.
  • Provide hands-on support for end users, including troubleshooting connectivity, hardware, and software issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, updates, and repairs on IT systems.
  • Support implementation of site technology, including cameras, access control, and project communication systems.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure field systems align with company security standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of configurations and service tickets.
  • Provide timely and professional communication to end users and leadership.
  • Travel to job sites as required to support ongoing IT operations.
