Job description

Overview
The College of Forestry, Wildlife and Environment Information Technology team is seeking a student employee to provide front-line IT support, assist with service ticket intake and triage, support day-to-day technology operations, and contribute to departmental IT projects.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for IT support requests.
  • Create and triage service tickets received through ticketing system, walk-ins, phone calls, Microsoft Teams, and email.
  • Gather and document incident and request details for escalation and resolution.
  • Provide basic technical support for computers, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
  • Assist with computer deployment, setup, and replacement projects.
  • Maintain IT inventory and asset records.
  • Support classroom, conference room, and audiovisual technology.
  • Assist with Microsoft 365 application support.
  • Perform other IT-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Enrolled student at Auburn University
  • Interested in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
