Job description

Position Summary:


This role provides comprehensive technical support and system administration across the organization. The position is responsible for administering, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise software applications, desktops, laptops, servers, voice systems, backup solutions, and storage infrastructure. The IT System Operation Engineer ensures reliable operations, swift issue resolution, and the overall stability and security of the company’s IT/OT environment.


 Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):


  • Maintain and administer the company’s computer networks and related IT environments, including hardware, operating systems, application software, and system configurations.
  • Install, upgrade, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve computer hardware, software, and network issues; replace defective components as needed to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain enterprise network/CCTV infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and alignment with business requirements.
  • Administer core infrastructure systems such File sharing system, Badge management system, voice systems, PA system, WLC systems, network equipment, and backup platforms.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on recurring issues and implement preventive measures to enhance system reliability, documenting and sharing manuals within the team.
  • Execute and verify regular full and incremental backups for WLC & voice system servers and critical systems such as badge/CCTV systems to ensure data protection and business continuity.
  • Research, recommend, test, and deploy new hardware, software, and technologies that improve system performance, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the IT Asset management and all physical storage up to date.
  • Participate in and support IT projects as assigned to advance organizational goals.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Requirements and Qualifications:


  • BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise-level IT environments.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2019 or later, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and Exchange Online administration.
  • Experience working with UTP and Fiber Optic cabling. 
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware preferred).
  • Strong proficiency with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and core network services (DNS, SMTP, DHCP, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge in Network security concepts such as Firewall, IPS, NAC
  • Familiarity with Cisco networking equipment and EMC storage systems.
  • Ability to support a range of WiFi-enabled OT devices (barcode scanners, tablets, printers, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including evaluating information to determine optimal solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Demonstrates initiative, strong motivation, and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
  • Able to build trust, credibility, and positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual Korean-English is preferring
