Mission

You will be responsible for designing and maintaining high‑quality data models that serve as the foundation for enterprise data products while defining the product strategy, requirements, and roadmap to ensure these data assets deliver measurable business value.

We are looking for a professional that act as a bridge between business, engineering, analytics, and governance teams, to ensure that data products are well‑structured, compliant, high‑performing, and aligned with organizational objectives.

What your responsibilities will be

  • Design, develop, and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data models that accurately represent business processes and datasets.
  • Create ERDs, data flow diagrams, and other technical artefacts to document the data landscape.
  • Collaborate with database administrators, software engineers, and data engineers to deploy and maintain models across databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Ensure data solutions are aligned with enterprise architecture, governance standards, security requirements and platform capabilities.
  • Experience working with enterprise platforms such as SAP, SAP BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, data warehouses, data lakes, and modern data catalog/governance tools.
  • Ability to define technical designs, review data models, understand system integrations, and make informed architecture recommendations.
  • Data Product Strategy & Lifecycle Management
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather stakeholder feedback to drive iterative product improvements.
  • Manage data product catalogs, data contracts (SLAs, sharing agreements), and product governance frameworks.
  • Governance, Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure data models and data products comply with organizational standards around data governance, security, quality and compliance. Take into account we work in a highly regulated environment.
  • Oversee the definition, maintenance, and adoption of standards for metadata, documentation, and data lineage.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand strategic priorities, pain points, and data needs.
  • Facilitate workshops / sessions with business and IT teams to define requirements, align scope, resolve dependencies, and drive decision‑making.
  • Build trusted relationships with stakeholders accross functions such as Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality, or Plasma Operations.
  • Act as coordination point between business teams, IT Data team and other IT teams for data related topics such as architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, application teams and Business Relationships Managers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Management, or related field.
  • Advanced English language skills (spoken and written).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data modeling, database design, across platforms including SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, and Microsoft Fabric.
  • A Data Modeler with experience in Data Engineering is a plus.
  • Experience in managing or contributing to data product development, including requirements gathering and roadmap definition.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling methodologies (relational, dimensional, analytical).
  • Familiarity with analytics tooling, BI concepts, data marketplaces, and introductory ML concepts.
  • Proficiency with modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation.
  • Experience writing user stories, defining requirements, and managing data product backlogs. Specially in SAP Analytics Cloud and MS Power BI.
