JOB SUMMARY

The ISO and Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the organizationโ€™s Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO requirements. This role ensures compliance with customer, regulatory, and organizational standards while leading audits, corrective actions, and risk-based quality initiatives. Drives a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across all functions.

Duties & Functions

Essential:

โ€ข Establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve the organizationโ€™s Quality Management System (QMS).

โ€ข Ensure QMS processes align with organizational strategy, business objectives, ISO and customer requirements.

โ€ข Maintain and control documented information, including policies, procedures, process maps, and records.

โ€ข Serve as the primary point of contact for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.

โ€ข Plan, coordinate, execute and support internal and external audits.

โ€ข Identify, document, and ensure timely closure of nonconformities and corrective and preventive actions.

โ€ข Monitor changes to ISO standards and ensure ongoing compliance.

โ€ข Promote risk-based thinking and preventive actions across the organization.

โ€ข Lead root cause analysis and CAPA activities using established quality tools.

โ€ข Identify opportunities for process improvement and operational excellence.

โ€ข Track, analyze, and report quality KPIs and performance metrics.

โ€ข Develop and manage the internal audit program, including training and oversight of internal auditors.

โ€ข Prepare and present quality performance data for management review meetings.

โ€ข Ensure actions from management reviews are implemented and tracked to completion.

โ€ข Develop and deliver ISO 9001 and quality-related training programs.

โ€ข Promote quality awareness, accountability, and compliance across all functions.

โ€ข Collaborate with operations, supply chain, engineering, customer service, and leadership teams.

โ€ข Support customer audits and respond to quality-related inquiries.

โ€ข Manage supplier quality requirements and performance, where applicable.

โ€ข Lead and manage additional certified or formal management system projects as required.

โ€ข Perform other duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education & Experience:

โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Quality, Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field.

โ€ข Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management or quality assurance. Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry experience preferred.

โ€ข Hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, or improving an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

โ€ข Proven experience leading audits and corrective action programs.

โ€ข Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 & 2026 requirements.

โ€ข Experience with root cause analysis tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone).

โ€ข Strong analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills

โ€ข Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.

โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

โ€ข Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.

โ€ข ISO 9001:2026 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor certification preferred.

โ€ข ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or equivalent certification preferred.

Physical requirements:

โ€ข While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; frequently required to walk, stand, talk, hear, reach with hands and arms and occasionally required to sit.

โ€ข Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
