General Function:    

Strengthens and sustains an effective Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with the ISO9001 industry standard accreditation and business requirements across the organization. Supports the continuous improvement of business processes and systems with organizational strategic goal alignment.  Supports the organization in achieving and exceeding business goals and objectives through strategic planning, project and resource management, innovation, and team collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

Coordinates with  Leadership to ensure that the quality system and supporting business processes are effective and aligned with the strategic goals of the organization. Manage an effective Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO9001 industry standard accreditation and business requirements across the organization. Lead the team to achieve sustainable quality management system targets for customers and business goals.

  • Lead through coordination and collaboration with operational and functional leadership the identification of opportunities and projects for cross functional process improvements to business objectives.
  • Facilitate the development of innovation driven processes and systems that support, align to, and drive company strategic initiatives and growth objectives.
  • Ensures quality and performance is planned through Advanced Quality Planning to reduce risk for full customer satisfaction and processes are properly executed according to plan.
  • Serves as a resource for software updates and user interface modifications of internal systems such as Quality Management Tracking System (QMTS) and Belvac associate training management system.
  • Manage all external registration requirements and compliance. Serve as the primary contact with external bodies on all matters relating to registration.
  • Ensure that the company's Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, and ISO9001 requirements. This includes the necessary systems and procedures that are in place to satisfy all customer requirements and audits.
  • Develop audit plans, coordinate, and lead regular quality management system internal or external audits. This includes managing any resulting non-conformities from the audits to ensure effective and timely corrective action and closure.
  • Report to Senior Leadership on the performance of the QMS (Ex. Results of quality audits, identified corrective actions and completion status) including improvement gaps and recommended solutions.
  • Develop the Quality Management System to improvement strategy, key milestones, and demonstrate solid progress against plan.
  • Lead initiatives that support leadership in transitioning a growing culture of OpEx, continuous improvement and high performance.
  • Lead and support business improvement projects and problem solving through the effective use of lean tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement through various quality indicators such as CFB (customer feedback) and KPI trends.
  • Contributed to OpEx initiatives by supporting process improvements and successfully achieving key performances objectives. This includes active participation in the OpEx core team to develop strategies and lead actions to exceed objectives.
  • Assign training whenever procedures or work instructions are newly created or revised to ensure personnel are informed of current requirements and processes.
  • Collaborate with process owners to identify and assign the appropriate procedures and work instructions based on employee job responsibilities and titles.
  • Ensures all training programs prioritize EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) standards to maintain a "Zero Harm" workplace.
  • Oversee the Global Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring consistent tracking and compliance across all locations.
  • Ensures all training is consistent with Belvac and Dover culture, values, and objectives.

Education:

  • Minimum of a two-year AS in a technical or business degree discipline is preferred.
  • 8+ years' experience in QA, manufacturing, and/or shipping/receiving.

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Effectiveness and applying  continuous improvement/ lean/ six sigma tools.
  • A detailed ISO9001 understanding with successful application and auditing experience. ASQ Certification is preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and demonstrated project management skills.
  • Excellent and demonstrated interpersonal, team and group facilitation skills.
  • Proficient in the use of PC based software i.e.; Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, MRP software and Mini-Tab or other data analysis software.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Wage Range: $55,000-$64,000 annually
