Job Summary
Lynk is searching for an Inventory Control Specialist to support the manufacturing of our satellite constellation. Lynk builds many spacecraft at a rapid rate so the ideal candidate has experience working in a fast paced environment. We are looking for people that are well-organized and have had previous experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, or Inventory Management Software (IMS).
Core Responsibilities
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the smooth continuous production of Lynk's satellites by performing a variety of tasks which include:
  • Building out Lynk's MES and ERP software for next generation satellites
  • Working with technicians and engineers to ensure Bills of Materials (BoMs) are complete, comprehensive, and loaded into our MES
  • Kitting inventory into technician workstations for various sub-assemblies
  • Monitoring inventory levels of critical long-lead components and replenishing stock as required
  • Managing physical storage such as shelving, security cages, etc. to ensure location is tracked for key components
  • Generating purchase orders for production components
  • Working closely with accounting team to ensure high-cost items are tracked and accounted for correctly

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in either a STEM related field or Business.
  • Experience using and administering MES and/or ERP systems
  • Demonstrated experience keeping organized in fast paced environments
  • Experience with inventory control or production support is a plus
  • Strong communication ability
