Inventory Clerk
The Inventory Clerk is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records within a light industrial environment. This role supports production continuity, materials flow, and inventory integrity by ensuring all materials, components, and finished goods are properly tracked, stored, and available to meet operational demands.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, and document incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms
  • Conduct routine cycle counts and lead physical inventory audits
  • Analyze and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and variances
  • Coordinate material movement to support production schedules and workflow efficiency
  • Ensure inventory is properly labeled, stored, and organized per plant standards
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate reordering needs or shortages to leadership
  • Prepare inventory and usage reports to support production planning
  • Support shipping, staging, and outbound logistics as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to ensure material accuracy

Qualifications
