Job description

Job purpose

The Materials Clerk objective is to understand and utilize AmeriQual's internal inventory management system; completing certifications, cycle counts (if required), daily preparation of production paperwork and provide departmental support.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assist warehouse and production with printing the material issue slip and batch sheet for daily production, when needed.
  • Complete daily work order certifications by end of shift for that day's production.
  • Monitor and track inventory, report and investigate discrepancies.
  • Provide support for Cycle Counts
  • Complete various data entry transactions via Excel, ERP system, etc.
  • Provide support for sales order entry function
  • Provide Support for Procurement Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Must be able to type at least 40 wpm
  • Strong computer skills; specifically in Word/Excel
  • Must have an ability to learn AQ Specific systems and cross train on other responsibilities as required.
  • Must possess excellent written verbal communication skills
  • Shipping/Receiving, Purchasing, ERP System and or Warehouse experience is a plus
  • Must be willing to work weekends and have flexible hour throughout the week.
