We are searching for an Inventory Control Associate for our 2nd shift in the Maintenance Department that has outstanding communication and critical thinking qualities. This Maintenance professional will be responsible for ensuring the Maintenance Team has the appropriate inventory of parts and materials to efficiently address all equipment downtime and work requests. The position will coordinate with the Inventory Controls Specialist and Part Room Supervisor to continuously enhance our storeroom facility. Job Description

  • Responsible formonitoring stock level by maintaining and updating accurate inventory records in the CMMS program
  • Conduct a regular cycle count, physical inventory audit and report and submit overage, shortages or damage items
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies while recommending process improvement
  • Stage items and equipment in the kitting cage for maintenance schedule work
  • Strong ability to identify and receive parts and equipment by using CMMS and purchasing program
  • Allocate materials in system and issue parts to mechanics with part ID tags
  • Maintainacleanwell-organized work area including allpartslocations
  • Build andestablishpositive working relationships with peers in the network and outside vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Food and Beverage Manufacturing experience and understanding of GMP and SQF Experience with a CMMS program and inventory control plusbasic computer skills and fundamentals of programs (word, excel and outlook)
  • Solid understanding of FIFO and general inventory practices
  • Ability tooperatea fork truck and pallet jack
  • Must be able to read and write English to best connect and communicate with the team.

Compensation Range:$21.15/hr- $27.40/hr
