Field Inventory Auditor

The Field Inventory Auditor ensures the accuracy and integrity of Acumed field inventory by conducting regular audits at sales agent locations. This role requires strong knowledge of Acumed products and proficiency with inventory tools and systems. The Auditor partners with internal and external teams to capture accurate counts and ensures inventory records, adjustments, and batch traceability are properly transacted.

Frequent Travel of approximately 50% is Required for this role

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly field inventory audits for sales agents.
  • Partner with sales leadership, agents, sales ops, and finance to ensure timely audit completion.
  • Coordinate and conduct physical counts across locations (trunk stock, hospitals, offices, warehouses).
  • Analyze discrepancies and communicate findings to identify and resolve unaccounted inventory.
  • Ensure reconciliation aligns with variance thresholds and loss policies.
  • Execute inventory adjustments in SAP and report results to Inventory and Finance teams.
  • Review consignment locations to confirm assets and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate on audit scheduling and maintain inventory controls and traceability.
  • Train and support field sales on inventory policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide regular audit status and activity reports.
  • Support related functions (Agent Inventory, Loaners, Logistics) as needed.
  • Assist with additional sales operations activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated with strong time management and ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Sound judgment with ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
  • Adaptable in a fast-changing environment.
  • Valid driver's license required.
