OVERVIEW: The Project Manager is responsible for the design process from the initial design concept through store opening while maintaining the brand standards at Kering Beauté. This position will also manage financial planning, analysis, and reporting for all Kering Beauté design and construction initiatives. This is a cross-functional role and would be ideal for a smart, driven professional who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person should be assertive, energetic, creative, and be able to multi-task, organize, and prioritize under firm deadlines.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
STORE PLANNING & DESIGN
  • Utilize AutoCAD to create design packages with laying out floor plans, creating elevations, and developing renderings of all new buildouts within Retail channels and KBA Boutiques following brand design and requirements.
  • Coordinate with LL/Retailer and/or Architect to review final construction drawings to ensure accuracy and design intent is met for bid and construction.
  • Oversee all architectural and construction projects and activities related to the development of new boutiques and/or renovation of existing boutiques, from performing surveys, layout, and design through construction completion, punch list, and turnover.
  • Lead site visits and initial due diligence/feasibility study and ensure complete and accurate reports are maintained to drive quality in building and millwork installation.
  • Act as point of contact with our vendors to facilitate design and installation needs-new look initiatives, design function, installation details, etc.
  • Create, roll out, and update presentation decks of KBA Boutiques and Retailer Buildouts
  • Manage construction budget through expense controls and monthly reporting for Retail Channels and Boutiques.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly retail reporting for business internal partners.

FINANCIAL PLANNING
  • Prepare Capex, cost reports, and timelines for budgeting and execution purposes while updating regularly, parallel to the project development and completion.
  • Assist in the financial budgeting and forecast for the wholesale and retail divisions.

CORE REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Architecture or Interior Design Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in a Project Manager position for retail projects. (Beauty or fragrance industry experience strongly preferred)
  • Portfolio of both design and field experience required.
  • Time spent in a design firm and field construction experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, Sketch-up, Photoshop & Microsoft Office is required.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while self-motivating.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to mitigate project risks.
  • Highly organized with excellent scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects in various phases and moving timelines.
