Job Summary
Create Music Group is seeking a self-driven & highly-motivated Digital Rights Copyright Intern to join our team. This internship will allow candidates to work closely with the department leads to support digital rights operations within the Youtube CMS,resolve copyright conflicts, copyright strikes, and determine rights for assets and clients.
This is a part-time internship designed for current students for the Summer/Fall 2026 term. Interns must be eligible to work in the U.S. and available for 10-23 hours per week over a 3-4 month period. This is a hybrid-work role - interns must be able to report to the Los Angeles headquarters 1-2 times per week.
Responsibilities
  • YouTube Copyright Conflict Resolution: Assist members of DRM Copyright in resolving ownership conflicts between third parties, reaching out to various companies, and resolving held revenue.
  • YouTube Copyright Strike Resolution: Assisting members of DRM copyright in resolving Channel Strikes on client's channels, determining rights, and protecting our YT Network SRAV Tier.
  • Tik Tok/Media Match Copyright: Assisting members of DRM Copyright in Asserting ownership and resolving ownership conflicts within Tik Tok's Media Match platform.

Qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Passionate about music and is up to date with trends and new genres in the music industry
  • Familiar with content formats within Youtube
  • A creative thinker who's not afraid to problem solve
  • Works well in a team environment and can communicate effectively with peers
  • Detail-oriented and organized when handling multiple tasks and projects
  • Hungry to get their foot in the door of the music industry and learn a variety of skills within the music distribution and Youtube umbrella
