Job description

Adult Outpatient Therapist – Behavioral Health

Compensation:
  • Full License: $29.47–$39.67/hour
  • Limited License: $27.22–$36.63/hour
  • Pay is based on licensing level and experience and is non-negotiable.
Position Overview:
Seeking a licensed therapist to provide outpatient mental health and co-occurring substance use treatment services for adults and families. Responsibilities include conducting intake evaluations, developing treatment plans, providing individual and group therapy, coordinating care with healthcare providers and support systems, and maintaining timely clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations.
  • Provide individual and group therapy services.
  • Utilize Person-Centered Planning principles.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, primary care providers, family members, and community resources.
  • Coordinate discharge planning and case closure activities.
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
  • Complete required training in mental health and substance use treatment.
Schedule:
  • Monday–Thursday: 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
  • Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.
  • Flexible scheduling available.
  • Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
  • Active state licensure: LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP.
  • Minimum one year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness (fieldwork/internship experience may qualify)
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain therapeutic relationships.
  • Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Must obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
