LifeLong Mental Healthcare Pte. Ltd. is currently seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our vibrant team. This remote position provides a unique opportunity to engage directly with patients experiencing a variety of mental health challenges while working from the comfort of your own home. You will play a crucial role in enhancing the mental well-being of community members, employing culturally sensitive practices and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Work Environment

This remote position allows counselors to engage with patients via telehealth platforms, ensuring flexibility and convenience for both clients and staff. Our community health clinic is known for its supportive atmosphere, where counselors collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals. You will enjoy a structured workweek from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing culturally sensitive techniques to gain a comprehensive understanding of patients' unique backgrounds and experiences.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, integrating evidence-based interventions that respect cultural suitability.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions employing a range of therapeutic modalities to address varying mental health concerns, promoting resilience and enhancing coping skills.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure a holistic approach to each patient’s care is maintained.
  • Offer crisis intervention services effectively during urgent mental health situations, ensuring immediate support is provided to those in need.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatments, and community resources, fostering empowerment and autonomy in the recovery process.
  • Maintain precise and confidential patient documentation in accordance with applicable laws and ethical standards, ensuring a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training sessions to further enhance collaborative efforts and personal development.
  • Stay informed on current trends and research related to mental health therapy and culturally relevant practices to continuously improve service delivery.

Preferred Experience
