An Internship in Project Management is a temporary position that allows students or recent graduates to gain practical experience in managing projects within an organization. Interns assist project managers with planning, coordinating, and executing projects, often performing tasks such as scheduling, documentation, and communication with stakeholders. What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an internship project manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Internship Project Manager, you need foundational knowledge of project management principles, organizational skills, and often enrollment in or completion of a relevant degree program. Familiarity with project management software such as Microsoft Project, Trello, or Asana, and basic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, is typically expected.
