Responsibilities - Assist in designing and maintaining core indicator systems for platform content security and risks, including content violations, user feedback, account risks, etc.; Participate in building monitoring and anomaly attribution systems, learning to quickly identify and analyze security incidents; - Learn to apply statistical scientific methods, including A/B testing, causal inference, regression analysis, etc., to assist in evaluating the effectiveness of various security strategies; Participate in experimental result analysis to provide data support for business decisions; - Under guidance, conduct quantitative analysis for specific business challenges, using data mining techniques to identify potential optimization opportunities; Collaborate with product, operations, algorithm and other teams to transform analytical insights into actionable improvement plans; - Participate in data cleaning and preprocessing work to ensure data quality and provide reliable data foundation for risk analysis; - Assist in generating data visualization reports and monitoring dashboards to help teams intuitively understand risk situations and strategy effectiveness; - Learn and apply data analysis methodologies, participate in the accumulation of analytical frameworks and tools, enhancing both personal and team analytical capabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science etc relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience - Familiar with common statistical analysis methods, proficient in SQL, Python/R, and other programming languages, with preference for those with data processing and analysis experience. - Excellent logical thinking, strong problem analysis and solving skills, good communication and collaboration abilities, passionate about challenges. - Enthusiastic about security risk analysis work and believing in the value of data-driven decisions. - Able to commit to working for at least 12 weeks Preferred Qualifications - Good communication skills, team spirit, and proactive attitude. - Understanding of machine learning, causal inference, A/B testing methods and principles, with preference for those with internship experience in internet companies. - Ability to quickly learn new knowledge and skills, passionate about solving complex problems. - Detail-oriented, responsible, with high awareness of data security and privacy protection.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency]Compensation Description (Hourly) - Campus Intern
The hourly rate range for this position in the selected city is $35- $35.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Interns have day one access to health insurance, life insurance, wellbeing benefits and more. Interns also receive 10 paid holidays per year and paid sick time (56 hours if hired in first half of year, 40 if hired in second half of year). Interns who are not working 100% remote may also be eligible for housing allowance.
