Full-Time Receptionist

Therapeutic Associates Bethany Physical Therapy is looking for a full-time receptionist to join our team. Schedules are flexible, and students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are encouraged to apply.

How you will make an impact

  • Responsible for greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate staff
  • Answers the phone and appropriately routes calls
  • Schedules and confirms new and returning patient appointment(s)
  • Minimizes cancellations and empty appointment slots
  • Collects co-payments at time of service and collects patient insurance and privacy forms
  • Compiles and records medical charts, reports and correspondence
  • Educates patients about their insurance and how physical therapy treatment plans work
  • Assists with physical therapy aide duties, when applicable
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by your leadership

What you will need to bring to the table

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Interest in Exercise Science, Sports Performance and Fitness preferred - students who are pursuing a physical therapy or pre-physical therapy degree program are strongly preferred.
