Job Summary:ย 

We are seeking a skilledField IT Support Technicianto provide on-site and remote technical support for our automotive dealership clients across theBay Area. The ideal candidate will have strongย expertiseย inPhone Systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directoryย implementation, and PC/printer configuration. This role requires travel to multiple dealership locations to troubleshoot,ย maintain, andย optimizeย IT systems.ย 

ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Network Support:Install, configure, and troubleshoot wired/wireless networks, switches, routers, and firewalls.ย 
  • Microsoft 365 Administration:Manage user accounts, licenses, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.ย 
  • Active Directory Management:Implement andย maintainย AD, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.ย 
  • PC & Printer Setup:Configure, deploy, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.ย 
  • On-Site & Remote Support:Provideย timelyย resolution for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.ย 
  • Security & Compliance:Ensure systems are patched, secure, and compliant with dealership IT policies.ย 
  • Documentation:Maintainย accurateย records of configurations, issues, and resolutions.ย 
  • Client Communication:Liaise with dealership staff to understand needs and provide training when necessary.ย 

ย 

Required Skills & Qualifications:ย 

  • 3+ yearsof hands-on IT support experience (field support preferred).ย 
  • Must have phone system experience (Ring Central,ย Emetrotelย etc) ย This will be an ongoingย implementationย and monitoringย ofย our phone system.ย 
  • Strong knowledge ofTCP/IP, VLANs, VPN, and network troubleshooting.ย 
  • Proficiencyย inMicrosoft 365 administration(user management, Exchange, Azure AD).ย 
  • Experience withActive Directory, Group Policy, and Windows Server.ย 
  • Ability toimage, configure, and troubleshoot Windows PCs and printers.ย 
  • Familiarity withbasic cybersecurity practices(firewalls, antivirus, updates).ย 
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and willingness to travel to client sites daily.ย 
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.ย

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Certifications:CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Certified, or CCNA.ย 
  • Experience supportingautomotive dealerships.ย 
  • Knowledge of ticketingย systems(e.g.,ย SpiceWorks, ConnectWise, Autotask).ย
