The position requires on-site presence during regular business hours and may be required to perform work during evenings and weekends. This hands-on role is critical in ensuring uptime and operational continuity of Point of Sale (POS) systems, Wi-Fi, cameras, signage, and other site-level technologies. The technician will serve as the frontline support for field operations, coordinating with the centralized IT support team and infrastructure team as needed.

  • Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, network equipment (routers, switches, wireless access points), site kiosks, printers, and surveillance systems at car wash locations.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in the field and escalate to Tier 2/3 support as needed.
  • Ensure all site equipment is functioning optimally and aligned with IT standards.

IT Field Operations:
  • Perform scheduled site visits for preventive maintenance, hardware upgrades, and inventory audits.
  • Respond to urgent IT service tickets that require onsite support to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized installations or warranty repairs.

  • Participate in IT infrastructure upgrade projects (e.g., router replacements, signage installations, camera replacements).
  • Support project documentation by capturing installation notes, diagrams, and hardware configurations.

Documentation & Communication:
  • Maintain detailed records of hardware inventory, configurations, and site-level incidents.
  • Communicate effectively with site managers, vendors, and IT leadership to ensure clarity and alignment during onsite visits.
  • Train site personnel on basic IT troubleshooting for supported technologies.

  • Field experience supporting multi site organizations, preferably in the retail industry.
  • Basic knowledge of POS systems and IT fundamentals.
  • Experience working and comfortable operating in a fast-paced organization, with an M&A-driven growth strategy, where system consolidation, acquisition integration and speed to market are key success factors.
